Support
Something wrong, something missing, or just a question — email hello@dogspots.app and a real person will read it.
Report a problem
Email hello@dogspots.app. If it's about a specific place, include its name and roughly where it is, and we'll get it fixed.
Common things
A venue is listed wrong
Tell us and we'll change it. In the app, open the place and use the correction option to report what's wrong. Or email hello@dogspots.app with the venue name.
Dog policies change, and staff on the day have the final say. If a place turns you away, that's worth reporting — it's how the map stays honest.
A place is missing
Add it. Tap Know a spot? in the app, search for the place and tell us what its dog policy is. That's the main way the map grows.
Somewhere shows as unconfirmed
Grey pins are places we know about but haven't confirmed a dog policy for yet. We're working through them steadily. If you know one of them, confirming it in the app helps everyone.
The map won't show my location
DogSpots needs location permission to centre the map on you. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → DogSpots and set it to While Using the App. The app works fine without it — the map just opens on London.
Report inappropriate content
Anyone using the app can add a place or suggest a change, so occasionally something inaccurate, offensive or plainly wrong gets through.
If you see something that shouldn't be there, email hello@dogspots.app with the venue name and what the problem is. We review every report and aim to act within 24 hours, removing anything that is offensive, abusive or fake.
For venue owners
If you run a place that appears on DogSpots:
- Your dog policy is wrong. Email us and we'll correct it straight away.
- You'd rather not be listed. Email us and we'll remove you. You don't need to give a reason.
- You've become dog-friendly. Let us know and we'll update the listing — we'd rather hear it from you than guess.
Either way: hello@dogspots.app.
Privacy
We don't have accounts, don't run analytics or ads, and your location never leaves your phone. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
